Had the misfortune of being at the wrong place at wrong time last week when I was sitting at a stoplight and was rear-ended. Taco won the battle but now needs a new rear bumper and some minor paint work.

I loved the old relentless rear bumpers that did not wrap around but they don't make them anymore. Any other options that are similar to the non wrap-around relentless, or do I need to go full custom to get something similar to the old relentless?

Have been doing some searches but most of what I am finding are wrap arounds.

It looks like 4x innovations offers a non-wrap-around plate bumper. I will give them a thorough look.

If OEM is what you would like, I do have one Brand new in the box with hardware. DM me if needed. Do you have planned Chiropractor appts in your future compliments of insurance?

I am going to do a plate bumper of some sort. Right now leaning toward just doing a relentless or coastal wrap-around but I like the non wrap arounds better. Just having a hard time finding many options other than 4x innovations.

And yeah the whiplash was pretty good. Hat ended up on back headrest and glasses ended up under gas pedal. I was dead stopped at a light and WHAM. Was surprised frame was unscathed.

yeah the bed and topper both flexed forward on impact and just barely touched the cab (no dents) on the passenger side. The 3rd light is unscathed. Pretty minimal when you see the car. It was a young driver and luckily the family had insurance.

    That 3rd brake light…….
If it’s scratched, claim the damage.
Book labor says headliner has to be removed and installed to mount tht lamp
    Maybe extra $500
Use that for the fancy bumper u want

    tip:
Ins companies these days(I have worked for one 25yrs) are going to ask you to submit pictures of your damage
    Screw that.
Take to a shop of your choice, let insurance company do estimate/get agreed price AT THE SHOP.

aliveates your blood pressure rising after ins comp puts some AM bumper(most likely not in stock/avail) on their estimate for $250
Let the shop show the insurance company the actual damage

I am on my second Amazon/ebay rear bumper, I havent had the best luck with the chrome around the license plate, I now keep that area waxed. But the aftermarket bumpers are a fraction of OE and come with ALL new hardware and brackets.
