Quick question, what happens to all the after market parts? (Bfg’s , method wheels, pro grill etc)
Do you get paid out extra in a totaled situation or do you just take the loss on those parts?

Sorry to hear and as others have said, I hope it's totaled because you'll get wrecked on resale :(

Yeah it's pretty scary how distracted people let themselves get while operating a vehicle

    Sweet looking truck too

Ouch man. That does blow. Hope you are OK. As for the truck ... does not look promising I’m afraid.

We have an is Isuzu cab over similar to that one at work. I crap myself a little thinking about having a front end accident with that thing.

Not sure if it’s actually true, but for whatever reason I feel safer driving the Ford F-350 super/heavy duty truck.

that looks like a 1st gen with bad frame rot, so yes, it is definitely totalled.

If it didn’t blow the airbags they might do you like they did me, just replace the frame, maybe the interior of the box. But be prepared to wait 2 months or more for the parts.

If your back is sore don't hesitate to see a doctor. Trauma will sometimes take a while to hit you in collisions like this and X-rays and MRI's can find problems you might not be feeling immediately. Looks to me like the Taco may be history.

The Isuzu doesn't even have a scuff mark?

That Isuzu took it like a champ! Time to go shopping for a 2020 :mudding:

Seriously, glad you're OK. I went though the same when a minivan pulled out in front of me in October. Be sure to take care of yourself and get to a doctor to get checked out.

Also, go grab EVERYTHING you like off that truck before you sign it over to your insurance. If not going on your replacement, you can sell everything. I put some SUPER cheap used tires on my factory wheels, installed them on my wrecked truck and sold my aftermarket wheels/tires to fund parts for my new truck.
