Well heading into work yesterday I was rear-ended and just looking to see what others think. I am still waiting to hear back from the auto shop about the damage and if there was any frame damage or not. Let me know what you think. Everyone was safe that was involved thankfully.

Hitch looks tilted down, so rear frame probably was affected.

Honestly doesn't look that bad. Steel bumper with the payout?

That really sucks. Frame damage? Hopefully not.

Not sure about frame damage yet, should hear back today or tomorrow, but pretty sure the tow hitch was bent so I can only assume. The bed did hit the cab of the truck from impact.

That’s messed up... what does it take for the bed to hit the cab? Can’t be an inexpensive fix with the hitch being bent down also. Other driver texting or have head in ass at the time?

Bed hit the cab of my truck when I was rear end by a Kia Soul. Bed dipped down and was considered totaled. Frame replacement was about $12k minus other parts and labor.

how bad was the hit? other car look bad? Did you let off the brake when you saw them coming?
It doesnt look bad if there is frame damage it wont be enough to warrant a new one.

Said he was changing lanes and checking his blind spot and ended up hitting the car behind me and myself while we were in a dead stop in the fast lane on the highway. Guy said he was going 30-40 mph.

The hit wasn’t too horrible because the car that was directly behind me took the brunt end of the damage, the guy said he was going 30-40 mph while we were at a dead stop. I didn’t let off the brake because of the cars in front of me, so I only damage to the rear of my vehicle.
