Rear facing child seats

tried with and without base. With base my 5’4 wife had about 1” room from dash. Without base I (6’1) can fit passenger seat with 1” space from dash. …. It’s a bit of a bummer to not use the base but this is still pretty easy and quick . Also if I look rough it’s cause I’m 2 weeks into this baby thing

 

Wouldn’t it be cool if they designed the rear seats to fold down AND properly anchor a baby car seat? You’d get at least a few inches back. Sometimes all you need is an extra inch or two…

 

You are so right! I even browsed some of the companies like goose gear who make a rear seat delete.

 

Put it in the middle with the base. Worked perfectly for us with three kids in the back
