hi , had a typical newb question. i have gone synthetic with my engine and manual transmission oil and was wondering what will changing the rear and front differential to synthetic do? smoother ride? better lubrication? is the difference something i will feel? definatly feel it in the tranny, much smoother and couldn't have been easier to do thanks tothe awesome 30k maintenance write up. ps i have an 09 2.7 4x4, dont think i have the lsd if that matters. thaks.

I gained a mpg or so when I switched out the diff's, and transfer case in my First gen.

    I searched...found this...and hijacking it so I don't start a new thread.

What kind of Oil should I use in both diffs, looking to change the fluid and figure buying at the dealer will be a waste of money. What Weight, brand, and QTY should I purchase to do the job. Will any 75/90 work?

I seen the write up and it said 3qts for the rear, what about the front?

Is the front the same with regards to filling till it comes out the fill whole? Is there a write up floating around fror the front diff?

Going to use the CRC Additive for the rear LSD mentioned here http://sites.google.com/site/tacomamaintenance/limited-slip-differential-oil

Lastly, should I bother with using new crush washers? Thanks.
