Installing 3 leaf AAL and noticed that I forgot to put in the metal shims or spacers that were originally in the suspension. Would it hurt if I left them out? Sorry if this has been asked before. Haha

did you also leave out the wedge? If you did leave that out more then likely you'll have a vibration at around 20mph and the driveshaft spacer kit will not fix it

It’ll just squeak like crazy in the coming months.

Hmmm. Not sure about the wedge. But there are 2 steel spacers in between the stock leaf springs. Easy enough to put in since I still have everything pulled apart

If running a 1.5 or 2 inch AAL...adding a 3 degree tapered aluminum shim will eliminate any drive line vibrations from the rear.

It should help. That's the same wedge angle I got, But mine are steel. I used with my OME hd96 leaf's. You want approximately 7degrees up angle at the rear drive shaft flange.

I wouldn’t use aluminum wedges, had it on my 95 Jeep 3” lift and it cracked, just my $.02....

It's a 3 leaf mini pack add a leaf. Didn't come with a wedge. Something I should look into getting?

Sure works for AAL and leaf packs...I’m running these thought they were aluminum but they are zinc plated steel...I have no complaints.
