Just wondering if it's a common issue with the rear leaf springs being bad after one year?
I know that they said that they replace them when they did the frame last spring. The rear end on the passenger side is about 5in lower than the other side if I had to guess.

    Thanks in advance guys

Pics and i would take it back to the dealer. If the truck is leaning that hard you have something major broken!

Post pics of the passenger leaf itself, including both hangars and where it attaches to the axle.

That doesn't show much looks like you are parked on a sloped driveway. Need pics of the springs themselves. If one was truly 5" lower than the other then it would be resting on the bump stop which is only a few inches above a factory leaf.

    No

Did you examine them at that time to be sure?

Do the parts/labor show up on your paperwork, or was this just idle chatter?

This should be fairly obvious from under the truck...look at the driver side leaf...now look at the passenger side leaf. Do these two look the same?

Could it be a shackle and not the leaf springs?

You need to take photos of both sides, front and back, and of the shackles.

Measure the distance from the lip of the fender to the center of the wheel on both sides, too.

The one you posted of the passenger looks fine to me. Looks like a normal amount of space between the leaf and the frame.

For reference a U.S. $0.25 piece is officially 0.955" in diameter, so about an inch difference left to right. That's not really unusual although most times they lean to the left side because of the fuel tank and driver.

I'm going to replace the rear shocks. They are original with 212k miles.
Inexpensive, but quality replacement recommendations for shocks ?

Take a measurement of both rear center of hubs to under side of wheel well. Turn truck around 180 degrees. Take another measurement. 1/2 inch difference may just be the difference in the parking lot surface.
