That musta been a quarter to scale with this penny. Not your standard .955" ones.

Really? Shocks should not support the vehicles weight? Did it maybe jam somehow when compressed?

Shocks do not support the weight of the truck. I personally would not recommend replacing your shocks without knowing more. I don't think anyone has enough information here to my a diagnosis or recommendation yet.

While it’s true that the rear shocks don’t support the vehicle’s weight they are gas charged and there is some small amount of force being exerted. If one of these original shocks that have 212000 miles on them lost it’s gas charge it could make a slight difference.

Op could try unbolting both shocks from the axle to see if it changes the tilt before buying replacements.

Also Op if you want to replace you could put a WTB in 2nd gen for sale section. It’s likely someone has some low mile takeoffs just sitting around you could get for cheap.

Yeah, that ain't from springs, they'd just about have to be snapped in half to be that far off.

That looks like the shackle either didn't get bolted properly & one of the bolts came out, or they re-used an extra-crispy Maine-winter-veteran shackle and it rusted in half.

I brought my truck to another Toyota dealership (not the one that replaced the frame and leaf springs last year).
They checked it out really quick, and said there is definitely something going on with that right side leaf springs, appearance wise. He did say everything looked attached the way it should be.
He thought I should call the the other dealership to have it put on the lift, but also said changing the original shocks would take out any wiggle room by them being at fault, and could also be the issue anyway.

ARE Z-series shell, ImMrYo mirror lift, always on fog-lights.
I would start with just unbolting the shock on that side and see if anything changes before putting the blame on the shocks.

The leafs just look worn out. What do you tow? How much weight? The dealership may warranty that if it hasnt been to long.

On page three of the attached pdf file, circled in blue is what I had toyota install after they replaced my frame and installed the non TSB springs. Still would sink in the back when I tow but wasn’t riding on the bump stops. Since then I installed air bags and it’s all good now.

    Update:
Just brought it back to dealership and looked it over.
It turns out that the leaf springs on the passenger side are bad.
They are ordering new ones and replacing them for free.
