My Truck is an 09 double cab 4x4. I drive it daily and tow with it in the summer months (a small boat, small trailer< and sometimes a skid loader trailer for a few miles. I plan to drive with the skid loader on a 350 mile round trip at least this coming summer. I just looked and I only have a 3 pack leaf spring. The truck has just turned 80k but it is a certified pre owned truck. I am looking at options to beef up the rear end.

Should I just add a leaf?

Should I try to get the TSB done under warranty? though I think its just drive train?

Should I look at air bags?

I really like mine. I never tow anything heavy but they did make a noticeable difference for everyday driving and my occasional firewood loads.

great bang for your buck imo

A local spring shop should be able to give you what you want if they are experienced. I used one recently to replace a broken leaf and add one more leaf to both sides. Inserted in between the main leaf and the second. I no longer slam the bump stops when the wind blows and I can't feel any axle wrap anymore.
