I searched but did not come up with what I was looking for. Do you have to have warranty left to get a TSB done?? I might need the rear leaf fix but I am out of warranty, is this an issue or will they fix it now too.. Thanks!! JOE>

There have been lots of posts on this and the easy answer is, yes you need to be within your warranty period. Some people have had some luck getting the dealer to perform the TSB after the warranty period but I would imagine it depends on how well you can state your case, how nice your dealer is feeling at the time and if all Jupiter's moons are aligned correctly.

It's worth a shot regardless, worse they can say is no. Just give them the line about not being able to believe Toyota would release a truck that bottoms out with a little weight in the back, blah blah blah. You get the idea. Good luck!

It's worth a try to go in and talk to the service manager. All they can say is no but if you get a good guy and speak to him with respect he may sign off on it. Can't hurt to try.
