Rear leaf TSB isn't applicable to 2008's

How many threads are required on the same subject?

 

I must have missed the one about the 2008's now being allowed? It's 10:00 here you cutting class today?

 

So your's were replaced with the 4-leaf and what do you think about the ride, stance, firmness, ect. Did it only raise the rear of your truck 1" or so? I just went to the dealer again yesterday and only a few Tacoma's on the lot but everyone still had the 3 leaf's including a sharp TRD rugged trail. They had Tundra's coming out their ears!

 

Virtual School. I needed the flexible scheduling and the ability to take a lot of classes and finish them quickly for a year.

Got mine today. It is a 4 leaf spring. Raised the rear of the truck only about .75" and nice firm ride while not harsh at all. Very pleased!

 

They're full of crap. I got it done on my 08 over the summer. No questions asked, however I did let them know that I knew about it ahead of time and that I expected it to be taken care of. You need the 4 leaf design. They did however tell me that the payload was 1,000lbs?

that is not true. i know because i have a 2008 sport long bed. i had my tsb done yesterday. there are several tsb's. you need to google and find the one for 2008, that is what i did. i carried it down there with me, i did not have any trouble. i was worried b/c mine was the first that the dealership had done. i thought they might try and dance around doing it.

 

i called the 1800 number last week and my 2008 is in the shop getting the tsb done as we speak
