I have a Canadian 2005 TRD Sport DCLB and am planning on installing 5100's in the front. I have read several times over on the net that all Canadian Tacomas have the 4-leaf pack (Rear suspension TSB) from the factory. Well, mine doesn't seem to!

Thoughts? Maybe 2005's didn't come with the 4-leaf pack?

The truck is used mostly on road, with every other weekend exploring offroad, and I carry motorbikes in the back fairly often. I was going to set the 5100's at 1.75" in the front and want the truck to be just a little bed-high, so I should probably either install the TSB pack ($$$), an AAL ($$), or get an all new aftermarket leaf pack ($$$). Which do you think is my best bet? Bare in mind University Student on a bit of a budget :)

Great! So I'd go with the 1.5" kit.

Is there any smaller, say 1" kit from another supplier? I don't particularly want to get the truck much taller. Even at 6'2 I don't like loading the bikes in the back of the bed alone :p

Couple questions about that particular AAL:
Is it true 1.5" or does it settle to a bit lower?
Will the ride be much harsher for the back-end?
Can I run stock (TRD) shocks with those AAL's or will I risk over-extending them?
