Rear leaf TSB with 5100

    Will there be much rake with the rear leaf spring TSB and 5100 in rear. I don't plan on replacing the front shocks just yet. Was wondering. Thanks in advance.

    did you have the tsb done already? if so then no I don't think rear 5100's will give you much more rake.

    Replacing the stock rear shocks with 5100's will have zero effect on ride height.

    My rear is 2" higher than my front w/tsb. 5100's at 1.75 next month and it should look perfect. Right now front is 35" and rear is 37" from the ground to bottom of fender centered on the hub. I dont like the rake

    The TSBs are not recalls. A TSB is intended to diagnose and fix a particular problem. That TSB in particular was created to diagnose and fix the weak leaf springs that came out of the factory. It replaced the stock 3 leaf set up to a 4 leaf set up. The problem people were having was bottoming out with a light load. If your truck does everything you need it to do, there's really no need for the TSB unless you plan on towing or hauling in the future.

    I just got my rear TSB done today. Got bout an inch lift in the rear. Ride is good no complaints and also got them to give a free alignment. check my gallery before and after

    OK...so just so I'm clear. I have a 2011 DC TRD. If I get the TSB done in, I'd get about a half inch in the rear. I haven't measured yet....but by the looks of it my truck is already looking lower in the front, anyway.

    If I then get the 5100's, I can adjust these to leve it out, correct? This is my first search on the topic so forgive my noobness. :)

    Yes and you can get level or rear a little higher which is a great look.
