Truck is at the dealership right now . Parts were ordered on monday they called today saying parts were in. They have had it all day then I get a call that they got 2 right side leaf springs and no left side?? What? I have asked numerous times if the replacements were going to be 4 leafs:confused:. The service advisor said he is pretty sure that it will be just different strength leafs to help with the bottoming out. What? Is it possible that they now have new and improved 3 leaf replacements?

Nope I just had mine done about 2 weeks agoand they are 4 leaf. A little bit stiffer but are great when towing. Also I walked in my dealership explained the problem he called the tech up front who took the truck straight back and an hour later I was leaving with install complete. Try another dealer some service dept will go out of their way for your buisness and others could care less if they get it.

4 leaf only. Go out and count them before you even go in and get paperwork.
There is no such thing as a 3 leaf tsb. Harsh ride tsb is 4 leafs.

Just got Tacoma back.. Replaced the springs with the proper parts.. Could not really tell a difference in ride on the highway but definitely feels tighter. Maybe because they did the alignment also? Or maybe in my head. Oh and also made it faster and improved mpg's... Not;)

I had the TSB done on my 2009 Tacoma and it made a world of difference.

Now, I need to do the same drill on my 2011 as soon as I can.

Going from the OEM 3 leaf spring pack to the OEM 4 leaf spring pack (4 pack is standard on Canadian trucks) makes a big difference in towing, hauling and overall driving stability of the Tacoma.

Yes it does for sure. I did mine at 500 miles. Made one trip with my boat and off they came. Wish it was stiffer but it's ok for now. I'll just build my own pack if i need to.

Looking at part #s that were installed they dont match what my TSB says? Installed 48210-35A20 and 48220-35020. TSB says 48210-04570 and 48220-04210 ? Have the part #s been updated or did they put on wrong leafs? It definitely has 3 full leafs with 1 helper spring? I am confused.

It is three full springs with the helper. Not 4 full springs.
