Is it possible to mount a LED bar on the back of a prinsu rack? Like facing behind the vehicle? Any mounts or tips? Thanks.

I’m about to find out. KC Hilites FLEX 40 going in front, Picked up a pair or Rigid 1x2 scene lights for the side, and have a PIAA RF18 for the rear.

As soon as I can find the PRINSU at a good price, I’ll order it.

So, not all light bars are created equal, including their mounting configuration. I picked up a piaa 18” for the rear, planned to be mounted to the prinsu rack. However, the mounting configuration for the bar is not optimal for the prinsu, or any roof rack. TBH, the bar would be best served bolted to a bumper or atv, or into a hood. Heinsight, should have never purchased that piaa bar. Lesson learned.

That said, my buddy works at a metal fab shop, gonna see if he can make some brackets that will do the job, and look good (aka hidden)

The KC Flex 40” fits and looks great up front! And the small RIGID Scene LED pods look super clean on the sides

I installed a couple of BD S2's under the last bar on my prinsu. Illuminates the area nicely. I ran the wiring in a channel facing forward after drilling for some small zip tiles to hold it in place. The mouting brackets for the lights are held in place with some carriage bolts.

I ran the wires through a plastic wire loom alongside the windshield into the engine bay to a switch pro..
