    Doubtful. 3" AAL and a 3" block.

Looks like 4.5 to me. Doesn't the block start at the 1 inch line?

There is plenty of axle wrap with the stock set up. Can't imagine what these set ups are doing!

Reviving this thread so I don’t have to make another.

If adding a 1.5” can I install with stock shocks temporarily for a month or two until the rear extended shocks show up?

Do you plan on putting your truck to its limits within the two months?
If you are spacing the axle 1.5" further away from the shock upper mount it is within it's normal range of motion, however where you run into the problem is at it's full length limit where the stock shock length is not long enough, that is where your shock will act as a limiter and will undergo stretching and possibly snapping. *if you're not offroading; normal driving shouldn't cause you any problems but of course, you should do your best to get an appropriate full length shock installed in a timely manor.

    Edit: Punctuation

Appreciate the reply. If I toss the lift on before I get the shocks I’ll stick the highway and street.

    Thanks

Well take in account that a AAL will pretty much give you 2 inches of lift and 3rd gens are already 1 inch higher in the rear . I have 2887 ome springs and 5100’s and got 1 3/4 in the front from it . I added a AAL pro comp single leaf short and got 2” and that was way more than I wanted . I only needed a 1” And with anything above 1” you will have to start chasing vibrations . So all the block haters souls also include that in their advice when suggesting a AAL

Maybe suggest no more than a 1” block . But with aal you will have to add degree shims also so there is some more height to add so 2” turns into almost 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 and if some one only needed a 1” it all just got way out of the need and a lot of added expense so sometimes a block is just fine as long as you do the minimum like 1” max

And on that note I really wish I could find a AAL that was 1” and at the very most 1.5 but all the short leafs seem to be 2 to 2.5. And also a three pack like icon 1.5 you will also loose 10% of your hauling capacity . So single leaf is better if you can find one that is 1 to 1.5

Has anyone used a 0.5 rear block with center hole and a 1 degree factory shim with center hole together ? The 19 trd came with a 1 degree shim I was going to add a 1/2” block that also has the center hole to it . What’s yalls opinion on this ?

I went 1.5" tapered and it eliminates and "bro" lean from the 2" TRD shocks up front. 1.5" is totally fine as long as they are tapered. Retains factory ride- if your looking to change the factory ride don't use blocks.
