I'm about to purchase a new suspension system for my truck.

I'm going to get the Bilstien 5100 front and rear shocks with the HS 2" coils in front.

I wanted to do the Head Strong 1.5"-2" rear 3 leaf AAL springs for the rear, but they are sold out and expected to be 4 to 6 weeks before they come in.

My choices are to go with a single leaf Deaver AAL spring with would do about 2" in the rear, or move up to the Icon 3 leaf progressive AAL which will do about 1.5" in the rear.

$697ish for the Deaver. $830ish for the Icon. The HS 3AAL would have been about $792.

    What would you guys do?

(I already have the 4 leaf TSB rear springs and stock TRD OR Bilsteins.)

From my understanding is that all AAL's are made by one company in Canada just rebranded. While it does suck to have to pay extra for the icons, it saves you waiting 1 month before HS can get more inventory.

No free shipping at Wheeler's :pout:

Practically the same price as buying the Icons through Head Strong.

With shipping its about the same price as the HS version and still cheaper than the Icons. Unless you want the Icon name, or willing to wait for Headstrong to restock theirs, the wheelers version is perfectly fine.

I pulled the trigger on the Bilstein 5100s for front and rear, with the HS 2" coils and the Icon 3 leaf AAL all from Head Strong. The difference was $3 and I'd rather it all just ship and arrive together.

Is there anything else I need to pick up?

Now the waiting begins, I guess. Also have new Toyo AT 2s coming in as well.

Great opportunity to do the ECGS bushing while the front suspension is apart. Completely optional; u-bolt flip kit. Cleans up the rear end quite nicely.
