I'm curious as well... I'm thinking about installing a 1.75 inch lift up front (TRD Pro suspension), and an aal pack in the back with the overloads left in, which should raise the rear by about 2 inches. I have zero experience with this sort of thing, but I'm hoping I won't experience any vibrations by raising the front and rear about the same amount. I'm probably way, way off base here...

That's about what I went up in front and it was fine. It leveled me out with the rear. I found a couple of threads that are saying that they have hed issues with raising the rear 1 1/2in and up but nothing on 1in.

As much as I hate to admit this, I did the 1" blocks in the rear from Toytec. I have not experienced any vibrations, but then again I do't go offroad. I didn't notice any ride difference. The blocks just helped level me out since I have Fox coilovers up front.

Bilstein 5100's w/ Eibach coil overs in front (set at 3" of lift). Front diff drop kit. Extended Bilstein 5100's in the rear. Deaver 2" AAL in rear w/ axle shims. 285 x 75 r 16 Goodyear Duratracks. Wheelers steelies type B, AFE cold air intake. Sway bar delete. All Pro Apex front bumper (rattle canned Rustoleum primer + flat black). Plasti-dipped emblems. Mud flaps removed.
It doesn't matter that you raise them the same amount, it changes the drive line angles and that causes vibration.

The best way to deal with vibrations is to lift it to where you want it and then see how bad it is, there are lots of things you can do to minimize the vibes.

OP, I'm thinking that with just 1" of lift in the rear you will be OK, but like 5150 said you just never really know until you do it.

Not sure what 1" lift options there are for the rear other than blocks. Blocks cause axle wrap and should be avoided if possible. Using the 3 leaf progressive AAL (sold under many names; Toytec, Wheelers, Icon, Headstrong Offroad I think offers it now too) gives 1.5" lift with the overloads removed and a much improved ride over stock. For minimal lift, that is the route I would suggest. I did not get vibes going up 1.5" in the rear.

Here is the results of my Baja lift with the 1.5" AAL:

I was seriously considering this option, however you may want to look at the Fox Level 2 lift from Headstrong, for the same amount of $$.

With that said, I'm still looking for what will suit me best, but leaning toward the Fox Lvl 2.

Another vote on using rear blocks. Inexpensive and effective if you want a raked look.

Ok so what are my chances of getting vibrations if I only lift the rear 5/8 in ? Also if I use a steel figure 8 block would I have any issues with the block cracking or would the sold T-6 aluminum block be better then the steel figure 8 block ?

I went 2" AAL, zero vibes.

1.5" AAL's are inexpensive through @HeadStrong Off-Road. Much better idea than a block. YMMV

I did the AAL pack w/ overloads left in and got a full 2" and stiff ride. I like it, but just a bit stiffer than I wanted. Not worth the labor of pulling them out though.

Yeah I can't do an AAL. I have the Alcan 8 leaf custom ones . I just need 5/8 in. to level me out .

It's an OME item (1/4 thick and can be stacked). ask Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and see if she can help.
