ive looked around for a write up, but I can't find one. How hard is it to install a rear locker?

Yeah, setting gears in not an easy job to learn. Once learned its very easy. The problem is after you do the install you won't know if its bad until the gears blow up.

    Something to keep in mind:

If you're considering a carrier replacement locker like an ARB, Detroit, or Auburn you will have to redo the gears. Probably something left better to a shop unless you're familiar with it.

If you do a lunchbox locker such as a lock-right you will have to remove the carrier and also remove the ring gear, but if you put everything back together as it came out you won't have to re-setup the gears.
