    Lockers seem way preferable over LSD, for so many reasons I can think of..
    Maybe because I'm partial since I don't have LSD, but my differential lock has saved my ass so many times!

    No, just no! If you’re gonna copy paste at least read it first.

    This doesn’t work on 2nd gen Tacomas. The mounting flange has a different bolt count/pattern and the backing plate has an incompatible shape. Can it be done? Sure, but the cost and fabrication required make it not worthwhile. Easier to get an aftermarket locker or Truetrac, which is still an LSD but a clutch less Torsten type that grabs harder and instantly.

    Are you in the market for a locking rear?

    It's worth pointing out that you'll need the entire axle housing as the third member is different between the factory locking and non-locking rears.

    Just trying to avoid rebuilding my e-locker actuator. It doesn't seem to have the muscle anymore to activate/deactivate my locker. I bought the rebuild kit, just need to pickup some grease and actually do the project...
