Has anyone purchased a rear main seal that stops trans fluid from leaking out of the rear of trans where the driveshaft yoke is at ??
AutoZone seems to have a part but it is nowhere near the correct size.

Your talking about the tailshaft seal?
Sounds like they are looking up the wrong parts.
    What engine/transmission do you have?

OP's truck is 2wd (no transfer case) although the seal might be the same?

    Well, I don’t who’s right.
    RockAuto or AutoZone.
RockAuto says A750E and A340E is the same seal?
    Autozone says they are different?

    Nothing is ever easy.

I guess at this point, you’ll have to go off looks?

I've found that often when it comes to driveline seals your better off having the old one out and matching it up or getting one from the dealer by vin, it seems aftermarket catalogs are always screwy with that kinda stuff not to mention that many people that work at the parts stores know nothing about parts other than what the computer tells them.

I found this, but I don’t think OP is going to get it at Autozone

Is that what its called is tail shaft seal? Maybe so ive just never heard that term, and is auto parts store actually going to have that in online catalog under that name.
Once driveshaft is removed cover looking thing look down it and the seal looks very big to me much bigger than what i purchased at autozone years ago which is what it appears is 224205. It would be good find a DIY walkthrough on this looks like need to have 1 in socket just to install the new one if I am identifying the part correctly by way it looks.
I know my trans is a 750 something or another.

I call it a transmission output seal personally, for a slip yoke driveshaft.

I pop off the dust seal and clean out the whole thing, sometimes I even unbolt the tail shaft and reseal it.

Most of the time you can use a thin layer of vasoline on the seal and press it in by hand.

I call it a tail shaft seal, it's also called an output shaft seal.
You have the A750E transmission if you have the V6 engine.

Talked to someone at SKF that makes seal SKF 157000 that RockAuto sells. Has the same dimensions as driveworks S-3459 which Advance sells.
SKF tech support said that seal fits A750E and A340. If a seal fits A750E trans then would it not also fit A750F ??
It appears Toyota used same seal on both A750E and A340 (340 is for 4Cylinder Tacos?).

It's an inexpensive seal (be glad you don't have an output shaft walrus, they're pricey! ;) ), get it from Toyota.

Not sure, the A750E has a slipyoke and the A750F has a drive flange secured with a nut. Whether or not it's the same seal I don't know.
Yor truck is 2wd so you have the A750E if you have a V6 or the A340E if you have a 4cyl, the A750F is on 4wd v6 trucks.
