Searched for this for a bit and couldn't find a clear answer...replaced the rear pinion seal in the differential and now can't find the torque specs for the nut. Any info men? Thank you very much!!! 1999 Tacoma SR5 4x4 3.4L

Usually you count the threads showing on the pinion nut/ shaft and then mark it so you can reinstall it to the same amount of revolutions and line up your witness mark you made.

Other than that it gets pretty involved with the preload.

What are you doing. Crush sleave new pinion bearings or just a seal?

I misread somehow. You are right, there is no torque spec. True mechanics training actually teaches to use rotational resistance as a measurement of before and after. But I've always indexed the nut and gone by feel.
