    Hey all,

I don't post very often but when I do the responses are always super helpful so thank you all again for the support and guidance.

I need to replace my left rear quarter panel on my '11 Taco. Had a mishap in the driveway last March thanks to a non-function transfer case, an inch of snow, freshly paved driveway (hence very slick) and a really steep slope. I've seen quarter panels for 2nd Gen Tacos online and it appears that they're "simple" bolt-on parts. Does anyone have experience replacing them and is it as simple as it looks? I have enough gray matter to do the work, just want to know what I'm getting into before I get started. I've asked the local collision centers for quotes but they're all too busy for what looks like a small job. I've added a few photos for you all to get a good laugh. This driveway has been the bane our existence since we moved in 15 yrs ago.

Yes, the bedside panels are a bolt-on replacement.

On the plus side, that's a hella strong railing you got!

Excellent! Thanks for the responses and confirmation that it's an easy job. Now, if I can just find a matching panel out there, I'll be golden. Most of the damage was done by the hack wrecker operators. It took two of them to get me out when I almost had myself out with 1.5 ton come-along, a jack and some dunnage! They also ripped off my running board on the passenger side and gouged the brand new driveway.

And yes Jonah, that railing was hella strong. I had some decent momentum sliding back down the hill and it did't budge. My dad and I built that about 15 years ago; he was BRIMMING with pride. Thanks for noticing; he'll be pumped.

Enjoy the rest of summer y'all!

    Ken
