I bought my tacoma a few months ago with a huge dent/puncture on the cab and the rear quarter panel, I shoved some bondo and gave it a rustoleum paint job (lol) since I’m planning on doing a perm fix and painting the whole thing within the next year and it makes it look sort of better

Any threads or vids around here on the replacement, or anyone have experience? Best place to find the panel? Is it a difficult body panel to replace or can it even be done diy?

People might be confused about you having a rear quarter panel.

Only cars have them trucks have Cabs and Beds

You can fix it a few ways pull it out and fill or get the sheet metal cut the old out and weld in the new and finish.

I gave up doing body work unless it effects the driving .

I had some minor dents like you have did the repair had the truck painted $$$ On the way home from the body shop a Deer impacted the very same place Expensive lesson learned .

Lots of You Tube videos on body and paint work.

You could try welding a stud and using a slide hammer but that’ll only fix so much. That’s a cut and weld repair IMO.

Finding a new bed will be easier and cheaper than fixing that.
