Rear running lights, out!?!

Hey guys so my rear running lights and license plate lights both went out last night and I checked all my fuses and they were good? Brake lights, back up lights and signals all work. I was wondering what else could possibly be wrong and why they would be out?

 

If they all went out at the same time, you can all but totally rule out burnt-up bulbs. I'm not familiar with 2nd Gen wiring but I would again check the fuses. However I most likely think your issue may be a bad ground. Pop off your lights and follow the grounds, one could have wiggled loose if they were connected with solder or pinches. I think that's where you're going to find the problem.

 

If your fog light switch and other lighted switchs on the left side of the steering colum its the fuse inside of the truck labled TAIL its a 10amp one on the top row. I had mine go out and thought it was good also but replaced it and everything was happy again
