Finally got my lift partially done. We were able to get the rear swapped out, but the front, we couldn't get the billies to fit. we tried the bottle jack approach, and removing the sway bar and the brake clips... anyways long story short... I'll be riding with the Hot Rod rake for this week and taking my truck to the shop for the fronts friday or saturday...

That's very weird, the front should have been much easier than rear. After we figured out what we were doing on the passenger side we go the driver's side installed in like 30 minutes. Are the 5100s set at 0?

Yeah they are set to the bottom notch... I found it odd too... We tried for about 4 hours on the passenger side and still couldn't get it together. We were always about 1/4" short from being able to get the bolt in. The rear has settled some so it's not as drastic as the picture shows... on the drive back from GA to VA the girlfriend and I could tell a HUGE difference. It's a lot stiffer, but for the better. Doesn't feel like we're riding on a jetski anymore. I am anxious to get the front done this weekend.

You don't have the spring perches on the billies mounted up side down do ya.

Those assemblies should fit with just a little leverage. I didn't use the bottle jack method, I used the buddy standing/bouncing his weight on the wheel hub/lower a arm method.

If your having this much trouble, they are too long. Imaging what they are going to do to your cv axle angles once you do get them in.

I know right... that's why I'm taking them to the shop to get them done... and we tried the bouncing method too... I am a little concerned about it, and I rechecked the shocks and they are on the 0" setting.... maybe we were approaching it the wrong way... I don't know....

 I'm anxious to see how this turns out. I have the same truck and am planning on doing the same lift next summer. I hope you get the front figured out soon.

Theres 3 pictures one of each and then the two together.... you can see both rings on each shock, and it looks like the spring perches are mounted correctly... of course this is my first go at anything suspension so I could be wrong... thanks for the help and advice guys... I should have these on by tomorrow sometime and will keep yall updated.

Would the sagging in the rear have any effect on how quickly the back tires wear down?

Here it is... I'll take some more pics later... 5100's front rear, 881's and Dakars.... over all lifted front about 2-2.5"" and rear about 3"
***EDIT*** lift amounts are from what it was when I purchased the truck in January of this year... not sure compared to stock, non-sagging heights...***

Looks good. Local guy has that same color truck and it's decked out. Looks great. This might give you some ideas.

If the truck is on flat ground the rear looks level, but any kind of incline or decline, it looks like the drivers side is lower... I'm out of town this weekend, but I'll try to get some pics up of the rear and side shots....
