Rear seat bottom cushion dimensions on a Double Cab

Hello, all. It's been almost two and a half years since I sold my '21 Tacoma at the height of the used car value craziness and I'm getting the itch to look into a new 4th gen. We have since added another dog to our family (a spunky 25lb female poodle) so we now have 3. Currently we have a Mazda SUV with a dog cover/hammock with a hard bottom for the bench second row. It measures 52" wide and 25" deep. As long as the Tacoma rear seat is at least that size including "leg room" behind the front seats, we would be perfectly fine. I've seen quite a few threads on human leg room but can't find the dimensions for the seat bottom itself.

 

You want to know if from the front of the back seat to the back of the front seat is 25”? Is that correct?

 

Yes, and most importantly if the width of the back seat cushion is at least 52".

53” of seat pad in width. Another few inches both way inside of doors.

about 20” of seat pad you would sit on. But another 6-7 inches to the back of the seat. With where I have my seat positioned.

of course these are decent measurements but what seam crease curve you measure from maybe slightly different.

 

I really appreciate you doing that! It seems like this will work just fine for us. FYI, this is the layout of the dog cover we use that all 3 are comfortable in.
