Pretty much maxed out financially until I can get my clients to pay me, so I'm looking for cheap cheap covers for the back seats to protect them from my precious snowflakes. Will any standard 60/40 bench split cover work, or do I need a special set up for the Taco if I want to still use the storage compartments? I'm thinking about just picking up some cheapos from Wal-Mart for now.

Did that in the wife's van, it didn't last long. My kids are old enough to get in and out themselves and do themselves up (4 and 7), and, me being the observant chap I am, would be afraid of one day cleaning it out, and going, "Hey, why is the blanket on the flo...OH MY GOD! LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO MY SEATS!!"

And yes, there are several ways to avoid that (pay attention, don't let them eat, etc etc). However, I'm smart enough to know I'm a dumbass and won't think about it until it's too late.

Canvas tarp with eye holes so you can secure it to the seat. That way it's secured to the seats so it can't end up on the floor.

Thanks guys, I'm going to give one of the suggestions a try. I've got other toys I want to spend money on before the seat covers, like the auto rear window. Drove me nuts on my road trip forgetting to open it before I left places.
