I can't do this as I occasionally need the back seat for people....but damn, if I were to, I'd be copying the hell out of this set up. Super slick, super nice job.

    Great job with the carpet!
I could never get carpeting to look that good (that’s one of the reasons I went linex)

Very Nice build .. but a bit confused u took out a box to build a box ? There is already a box under the seat why not just take the seats out and use the box . unless your using the deck for other items . But overall awesome job .

well-fist off the area is not flat-i wanted to keep my frig there...so the platform-makes the whole area more usable to me-My dog also loves to hang there-and its much better then him ruining the seats-which can be returned to normal in about 30 minutes-or 2 beers time. The insulation with the foam behind the wood panels-is much quieter as well-keeps the road noise down.I split the two areas so i have access to the "stock" storage area-and the new space as well. Thanks man!!!

Check out my build (rear seat delete) on YouTube. I have a thick skin, let me know what you think. Under 100$ and has been holding up well. I might go 5/8s on the deck if I could do over, but it seems fine with the 1/2.

Solid solution! Nothing wrong with that build at all.

You can not go by my delete deck... I just finished a walk-in closet that I decided to build with 3x3 (milled down 4x4s) all mortise and tenon... a bit overkill I know :goingcrazy:

Love your finished project-really looks killer-i personally feel mine was over budget-because of my reliance on friends and beer...oh well!!

That turned out great. If I didn’t need the rear seat for a car seat, I’d be looking to do something similar.

I’m going to likely do something similar and am leaving the single seat. You don’t need to pull them all if you don’t want to

Bolt the car seat to the deck.
    Problem solved. Problem staying solved.
