I have a 15g tank in the forward PS side (this is an early designing phase picture):
    upload_2022-10-8_8-52-41.jpg

The pump/actuator is mounted to the bed side in a sort of floating mount style:
    upload_2022-10-8_8-54-18.jpg

For my actual use, I'm not sure the actuator is actually needed/useful.

The PEX line runs to the back of the bed where it connects to a coiled hose. I have a toggle switch to turn power on and off at the back, as well.

A little fine-tune, finishing work in the solar panel category.

    1) I felt I made the steel brackets a little tall, plus noticed after coast trip the brackets were already showing corrosion and corrosion transfer onto the camper. So, I made some new brackets from 6061 aluminum flat bar.

    upload_2022-10-9_12-8-31.jpg

I am much happer with this mounting:
    upload_2022-10-9_12-10-18.jpg

    2) I had been thinking about adding a fairing in front of the solar panel for a while now. I had not seen any ready-made ones that I liked, so finally decided to make my own version. Not so much for aerodynamics, but as a protector for the panel to guide obstructions over the top.

I placed cardboard on top of the camper to be able to draw on, and cut a preliminary shape for the fairing.
    upload_2022-10-9_12-13-48.jpg

(Note: The initial bottom curve was made using the hood shield curve.)

After position and curve were satisfactory, I needed to trace the shape onto a piece 1/4" plastic I had (would have preferred opaque, but this translucent piece is what I already had). The edge of the template was not smooth, so I stepped back to think about how to deal with this dilemma. Fortunately, I had a thin length of flat bar, so I taped it to the template and, voila', I could trace a smooth curve.
    upload_2022-10-9_12-20-24.jpg

Once the plastic was cut, I designed each of the 3 mounting brackets, one-by-one, to fit the curve and lean angle I wanted, and to clear my solar panel cable.
    upload_2022-10-9_12-24-10.jpg

With fitment work done, I cleaned up the mounting brackets.
    upload_2022-10-9_12-26-24.jpg

I will run this for a while and see how it goes, and see if any fine-tuning adjustments are needed. I may go and buy an opaque sheet of plastic later on.

Added an LED light strip circuit to the camper.

    Lights off:
    upload_2022-10-11_18-39-40.jpg

The strip circuit runs from PS side to the rear, then to the DS. Lights on:
    upload_2022-10-11_18-41-14.jpg

These are programmable, but the feature I was looking for was the remote/phone app control and ability to change color.

Just back from a 2-night trip, home just ahead of the rain. Testing the use of individual storage pouches as a flexible storage solution. Also, that big, wire basket is a Wald bike basket in temporary service. By separating out gear/clothes, there is a fair amount of storage space without encroaching on nor affecting the performance of the power station.

Also, since I wasn't going to be super remote, rather than carrying gas, I used the carrier to haul some firewood. Unfortunately, the wood never left the carrier as there was still a fire ban due to our drought season.

Also, the truck looks good at sunrise:

How much room is there from the end of the bed to the shell? Are you able to climb into the bed from the truck bed or do you have to enter from the outside?

No outside ladder is necessary. There are 2 removable panels and you have about 20-some inches to get up (and full width).

Gee, may need to update the title of this thread. Anyway ... this is kind of, sort of storage related, I guess.

My aging brain failed twice to order the right lid accessory for my Pelican 1615 "kitchen" case, so I modified the panel one to fit, then attached the other pouchy one. I'll run some shock cord to allow me to attach additional items.
    upload_2022-10-30_19-52-26.jpg

To help with clutter issues, I took some left over wood pieces and put together storage zones on both sides of the truck bed.

I also made a few improvements to my "temporary" swing arm table, using shelving cable hardware.

That sheet metal work and rivet spacing is on point. That’s a good looking setup…
