    Greetings All,
Just got a 2012 DCLB, and am already thinking of ways to "make it my own..."
I've looked around a bit and have not seen anything as described below.
For the Access Cab models you can specify a "Contractor Option" or something like that, that leaves out all of the rear seat assemblies, and replaces them with plastic panels and bins.
I would have thought that someone on the aftermarket side of the fence would have come up with some a product that would allow you to do this with either side of the back seat in a Double Cab.
You Can unbolt both the upper and lower seat units, and take out the plastic bin that is behind either seat assembly, leaving you with a substantial amount of space for tools, bags, whatever, to carry around in the cab, behind the front seat.
Is no one making a drop in/bolt in plastic bin system of some sort that will replace the seats if removed from a Double Cab?
I'm guessing that a weekend with a jigsaw, a pile of zip ties, my plastic welder and some "found 'em, fair and square" plastic milk cartons I could fashion something up,
But this has to have been thought of before, No?
Thanks in advance for a great site,
Already learning and utilizing it a bunch.
    TjB

I've seen a few guys on here make something like a wooden deck to go in the back. You could do that and cover it with a fabric like they cover speaker boxed with. I haven't seen a commercial product though. There may be one I just haven't seen it yet.

Whatever you fabricate and install, consider what can happen in an accident. Anything loose in bins, shelves, etc becomes a high speed and potentially lethal projectile. That goes for the bins or shelves themselves too. Do it right.

That is a very good point, and one that I always try to take into account.
