I was looking underneath my 2016 Limited 4x4 Taco for something else when I happened to notice this leak coming from what appears to be where the rear shaft connects to the Transfer Case. Should I be concerned yet? Any fixes?

Were your Zerks recently greased? Do you notice any driveline clunks or noise? Also how many miles on your truck?

The U-joints are supposed to be greased yearly. You usually can't clean up the old expelled grease 100%. Whatever old grease remaining outside the joint will splash when the driveshaft spins, like it's shown here.

    That’s not a leak.
    It’s from greasing the u-joints.
I WANT to see that. That means the joints were greased.

A good tech can wipe off the excess grease to control the “sling”.
    But I’m not a tech, and I don’t care.
