Is it entirely necessary to change the stock rear shock to an extended shock if im going to use a 1.25 in. lift shackle?

it IS 1130 or so the night before thanksgiving

give folks a little more than 10 minutes to answer

    however

you probably dont NEED to but it may not hurt anything to have a bit longer than OEM shocks at 1.25" of lift

    who makes shackles that size?

oh man.. im going to need more lift than that for sure. Im installing billy 5100's up front at 2.5 inches. Im assuming i need about 1.5 inches of lift in the back to level it out

    im just guessing

the shackles youre buying may be 1.5" lift shackles...which means theyre 3" longer than stock

check the site where youre buying them from and see

also check out Toytec...they have some nice shackles and may have a bundle with matching shocks you can buy
