Is there a disadvantage to using the aluminum reservoir clamps that come with some of the fox shocks to mount the reservoir to the shock body vs. mounting the reservoir to the frame?

    Thanks!

You talking about smooth body (non-bypass) shocks? No. Just mount them wherever they area easiest to mount.
