I think he meant the dealer that sold you the shocks, not Toyota. Fox has a 1 year warranty so it may be covered if they were bought less than a year ago. Would be worth it to contact them or who sold them.

How do you know if your bumps are too low? I recently chopped my SUMOs cus they were contacting too early. Now I'm afraid that when my DAKAR's and Fox rears show up I'm gonna be in the same boat... :bananadead:

I’ve been running my fox’s w/ Dakar’s for about 5k and zero issues so far and the ride is very nice. Absolutely a smoother ride than my 1st gen on Billy’s.

You have to compress the suspension and see if the shock bottoms out before the bump stop.

So go try and stuff the wheel and make sure it compresses the stop?

Yes, you want the bumpstop on the frame to stop the upward travel before the shock bottoms out. I think they state about 1" travel left on the shock at full compression so it doesnt bottom.

Thanks man. I try to read all I can and make an informed decision, but I swear I learn something new about suspensions every day.

get them tuned. Mine ride pretty awesome and its huge improvement over stock. 15k miles and I haven't had a issue so this is an odd one

Foxes are used to outfit Polaris RZRs, uparmored Tacoma’s/Hiluxs, and SOCOM variant vehicles for war. Granted they’re all at least the 2.5s, but it was probably a bad install or just terrible luck, even the best product will have lemons or bad conditions.
