My buddy's 06 PreRunner Taco is 350+ on miles, he has maintained most every thing. I gave him the front struts from my 06 4x4 after i upgraded, 100 miles. any ideas of a bang for your buck rear shock for him? Any help would be appreciated, I would get a kick out of him going over 1/2 a million miles.

ya, the 5100s' would be sweet, but he is not doing any hardcore off road stuff. just looking for something to keep him in line hauling a dog trailer and bow fishing boat...

5100's are pretty much the bottom of the barrel upgrade, next to the really cheap stuff at autozone or Napa or whatever. 5100's are hands down the best bang for your buck. If you are really into offroad then you would be looking for something better than the 5100's.

He can buy the stock shocks off my 2012 TRD Off Road if he likes.
