Rear shocks side specific?

    Hi, I just looked at my fox 2.0 front and rear parts. It looks like the front coils are the same left and right.

    it also looks like the rear struts are the same part.

    I know the front is supposed to be side specific, but I’ll probably be fine by adjusting preload or using a spacer.

    what about the rear?

    The rear is side specific but with aftermarket shocks and extended rear bump stops that difference remains minimal; nothing to lose sleep over.

    If you are still using the original rear shock mounts, the distance between the mounts on the driver's side is different from the passenger side. IIRC, there is about a 1/2" difference.

    Well hell! I just looked at my invoice and sure as shit. Never thought about the difference. Now I’m going to have to check.
