With the Access and Regular cabs, you can reach it from the drivers seat. In a DC, it's a bit out of reach..... :D

I had a Dakota Club Cab (Access Cab) back in the early 90's, and I used the sliding window a lot, but I could reach it.

Yeah, I used the rear window on my 2004 Tacoma access cab. It was great and I could reach it while driving.

    Used it ALL the time.

I would use it whenever I can, even when I can't reach it but that's going to be when I get it.

I use it on my AC. When you're doing 70-90mph with the windows down, it takes a lot of wind pressure off your ears.

I never use mine other then when a carry long loads like 2 x 4's.

I think Ford has us beat with the power rear slider, my buddy has it on his truck.

I'm a Toyota fan, but find the option variety on the Fords/GM/Didge much better.

Absolutely I do. How lazy can you be that you need a power slider? I bet those same folks have that little chick bed step on their F150's too along with a custom tampon holder in the dash.

Of course, I really only use it in spring or fall since it's so stinking hot for most of the year.

I have a double cab and don't use it, since I never remember when I am leaving and can't reach it when I'm driving. Although when I have passengers in the back they may use it.

I use mine. With it open and the front windows cracked you get a nice breeze that doesn't blow you out of your seat.

I don't know if it's different becuase I have vent visors...
If just my front windows are open, it comes in strong and blasts you in your face.

If I just crack the back windows, it reduces the sound and redirects the airflow so it's not in my face.

This is my first double cab but I really like the stream of air when both windows are cracked. In my Access, I would just crack the back window for the same effect. Now I have the power to do it under the fingers on my left hand.

I also LOVE having vent visors! So many more options for getting clean ventilation in the cab - even in the pouring rain.

I can be pretty damn lazy!Toyota should make a power slider standard equip. from now on in DC TRD models.I would prefer one that the whole window slides down, not just the center section sliding over.
It does get hot here in SC,but being from Ohio I love the heat.Ohio is great from late May- Oct.,but you can have the rest of the year up there.

Yea, with the amount of mods and type of owners the Tacoma's have now... it'd be an awesome feature to have. That said, on an AC it doesn't matter that much to me lol...
