Hate stereo sound coming from behind? Can’t figure out how to use that pesky fader. Well do I have the mod for you.

Not to mention MPG will go through the roof with the weight savings alone.

Right on. It's pretty amazing how useless the rears are. And how spectacular the morrels perform in my fronts, considering they're the only speakers in the truck haha.

Why not just fade it to the front? Isn’t it easier to read the user manual than tear your rear doors apart? The stereo remembers your settings.

I’m actually about to start on a nice little stereo install. I’m not using rears and was in the rear doors sound deadening. Better to go ahead and remove the rears and make a abs plate to cover the holes rather than allowing the unused speakers to act like a passive radiator for road noise. Rear doors feel a lot more solid now too. I’ve completely sound deadened the entire truck minus the front doors. I’ll do them when I’m installing the fronts. I have to finish everything else first though. Just started on electrical.

I can't even hear my rear speakers lol. tbh, I don't even know if I have rear speakers. I have a 2019 double cab without the technology package

Thanks. You’re right down the road from me. You’ll have to check it out when I’m done. Right now I’m pulling up to the scene with my ceiling missing.

cool, good looking install happening. i have my little SQ setup and the first thing i did was delete the rears. i have coax 6.5s up front and one big sub in the rear, and the soundstage is there with enough low mid coming from the sub to keep it feeling well rounded. no sense of anything missing at all. good luck.

I took out all of my speakers, front and rear, when I put my bed cap on.

That’s unfortunate but the price you pay for bed cap.

With Sound Deadening in the passenger door you might as well make a sticker that says, "Don't slam the GD door."
