I just got this tsb done yesterday. Ray Brandt on Veteran's Blvd in Kenner, LA did it with no questions asked. However, I thought that they would replace the shocks with the Bilstein TRD shocks. They definitely changed the shocks, but the new ones are black. I thought the TRD shocks are blue/yellow. The leaf springs are fixed and the ride has changed, though. Am I wrong or did the dealership give me the SR5 shocks instead of the TRDs?:confused:

You should have been given the blue/yellow ones. I'd call them back and tell them you want them.

Ya as long as you didn't already have them, the dealer will put on the Blue/Yellow TRDs.

Same thing happened to me first go round. Problem was they were using their computer system for the replacement part numbers, not the TSB... Had to complain to Toyota USA that they were not reading the TSB closely enough...

I am also having this same problem. The first go around they put bilsteins on the front and black tokico (sp?) shocks on the back, and i took it back to have them change them....and now i have all 4 black shocks? They didnt change the part numbers on the TSB to tokico shocks did they?

The Tokico shocks are the upgraded shocks that come on the '09 and above model years. It seems this is the current replacement.

Looks like there is a Revision 02 of the TSB, where the tokico shocks are included instead of the bilsteins.
