Just turn up the radio and you'll be fine. It's a truck. Get over it.

Appreciate the derailing of the topic due to feelings. Would jacking up the body to loosen up space between the pucks and leafs actually work so I can get water sprayed into there. As it seems that there's crud around it?

Wd40 doesn't last long for me. PB blastr works a bit longer and is my go to due to price.

T9 boeshield has worked the best and lasted the longest, but around here is twice the price of PB.

None of these last forever... At most a couple weeks... But i also live off road.

It couldn't hurt to try your luck at a dealership. Quite a few guys have had their rear leafs replaced because of this issue. Hopefully you have a good dealership (like I said before, some will tell you it's normal and to pound sand).

I'd try the dealership before throwing grease or anything on it. Adding grease isn't recommended by Toyota, so if you add lube and *then* take it in, you are more likely to get told to pound sand.

Not acceptable, get them replaced, I did under warranty and had no issues getting the service department to do their job. I was told last year that the engineers knew there was a problem with them but there was no ETA on a TSB or fix other than replacing them and hoping for the best. I have put 20000 miles on my new ones after I had the original ones replaced around 5000 miles and zero issues.

I complained about my squeeky leafs 3 times at the dealership and all 3 Times they said all they could do is grease them. I was told if i keep complaining i could possibly get them replaced... But it would be with the same type of leafs and likely to happen again. They use white lith grease on the leafs at the dealership where i get my truck serviced.

    I had a 2016 4cyl 2wd SR... And a 2016 sr5 3.5 V6 2wd... and now a 2017 sr5 4x4 v6... ALL 3 HAD SQUEAKY LEAFS.

File a complaint with Toyota, they will replace them. I got the same OEM ones back on but since they were a later build I haven't had any issues.

Well that's the heritage I bought in to when I picked up my 2016. Time will tell, but I hope that in 2047 my truck is around and kicking. I just hope I get there without having to replace all of the key components along the way.

Mine squeeks nasty . I pressure wash the bushings to clean them out. I tried wd40 and silicon spray and both only last maybe a week before it comes back. I started using lithium spray and it holds way longer

I used to just spray mine down with some liquid silicone, and that helped a bit. But I've recently started pressure washing the springs during each car wash (and especially after I've been off road). That has helped tremendously. Then I'll spray the clean bushings down with the liquid silicone. It seems the tiniest bit of dirt makes these springs sound like an old rocking chair.

Meh... My cousins 2014 squeaks. My first third gen taco had a build date of December 2015. This new one has a build date of march 2017. Still squeaky...

Did they come out with a completely new leaf spring setup??? If not, its not worth leaving my truck for even a few hours.

Flowmaster 40 series exhaust and an S&B cai... I dont hear the squeaks anymore :D

this sounds incredibly dumb but check and make sure your spare tire hoist chain is cranked all the way up
i chased a non-existent leaf squeak for the first 6 months i owned my '12 and it was 100% the spare tire
