REAR SUA GUYS (dcsb) need some drive shaft advice

    i have an 07 2wd dcsb and bought the DMZ spring under kit. ive heard multiple ideas and opinions of what to do with adding a slip yoke, and shortening, but what are you running for a CB?

    any suggestions are helpful thanks.

    You can run a one-piece Tom Wood driveshaft with double-cardan joint and slip yoke. No need for a carrier bearing.

    any idea on dimmensions for that? any drawbacks of a 1pc?

    It's recommended you measure the flange-to-flange lengths after the SUA kit is installed. Measure at ride height, full droop and (ideally) full compression, then order the driveshaft.

    Money pit.
    Lower clearance on the drive shaft, but that shouldn't be a factor for a 2WD. Applies more to rock crawling.

    anyone know a rough estimate of how much a tom woods one piece would cost?

    I talked to tom woods and they don't make them anymore. If I were you, Id use the stock CB because its a lot quitter and will work fine. If you want a good shop to do your slip yoke, I know a guy that will do it for $250 if you bring the driveshaft to him.

    thanks hiatt, im getting a slip yoke and new tacoma cb added when the truck goes to LSK
