My 09 sport trd didn't come with one. My question is it worth it to buy one? Is their factory wiring already their? If you have one are you happy with it. I know the aftermaket one is expensive and you have to cut up your center console. I think the location for the factory one is good. Thanks

You can get one that fits in your center console.

I have a DC and the JBL subwoofer is better than nothing and to be honest is much better than the built in sub from the premium stock system in some toher vehicles I have heard.

That being said, I need more bass so I will be investing in an aftermarket box and sub to go behind the seat.

I have the Toyota subwoofer on the back panel in my '09 Access Cab. The unit is not well balanced with the rest of the stereo system and I had to back off the bass control to get any clarity on the bottom end. It is better than having no subwoofer at all and it makes the rear view mirror vibrate when turned up but I would spend a little more to get a better unit if I was starting from scratch.
