Rear susension help

So as of now I have a 2" AAL with bilstein 5125's. Its stiff. Too stiff for my liking. Is there a leaf pack/shock combo that will be good for crawling. On road performance doesn't matter to me. I have my sway bar removed with 5100 and ome 884 up front.

Might be too much for what you are looking for, but considered a Chevy 63" spring conversion yet?

 

I am a big fan of OME. Not sure how long they have been installed but, they need to settle and may take some time to smooth out.
Familiarizing yourself with spring rate and front end components is paramount in understanding on and off-road ride.
At this point the rear AAL is a moot point as your choices are limited to much of the same and not knowing enough about the gear you carry or weight.

 

Deavers make pretty soft leafs. But they are not made to carry any weight.

 

I really want to link the rear of my truck but knowing that it is hard to do and need deep pockets to do it whicwhichont have. Hauling stuff isn't what I'm into so I will take a look at the deavers. Have you guys ever heard of bilstein 5125's exploding? Happened to me last night after I hit a pretty big hole.
