I'm in the process of ordering a new suspension for my 2nd gen. I'm currently running Deaver Expedition Series Rear Springs, Stage 3. Wondering if I could run these for additional droop: https://www.bilsteinlifts.com/shop/...rear-lift-shocks-2005-2022-toyota-tacoma-4wd/

Only considering it because the vendor is out of the 2-3 inch lift shocks.

Or would I be causing damage to the 3.5-5 inch shocks?

    Thanks for any advice!

Compare compressed length. Most likely you will need to reduce up travel with extending bump stop and ride will become very poor with constant bottom outs. The whole point of all expedition leaf packs is to just increase load capacity. It is a road many have gone down to just end up going spring under set up much like this 2005+ Toyota Tacoma Rear Spring Under Kit – JD Fabrication

Thanks! Measured everything over the weekend. I instead ordered the rears from another vendor.

I purchased the Deavers for that exact reason. Travel across country with a lot of video production gear. And constantly have around 500 pounds in the rear, daily. Great pack for my needs.
