Ride Rite Air Bags solved the soft rear suspension issues so no more bottoming out. An advantage of add a leaf or stiffer springs is that they are adjustable so you won't have a stiff suspension ride when you are not fully loaded and don't need it. 15 psi for normal daily driving up to 35 psi for fully loaded. I have had the same air bags on both my 2005 and 2010 Tacomas... and they are still perfect.

Before going to a link setup in the rear , you will be very happy with a SUA deaver 62” leaf setup. About 9” of up travel from ride height , plus another 8” of droop travel so 17” total travel (idk what that is in hill billy “flex” units). If you go with the JD fab 62” kit , you don’t have to do a bed cage. Their 14” shocks and shock tower works great. Plus their rear shackle is inverted so it won’t scrap or drag over rocks .
