Just got off the phone with the dealership. I wanted to get the tsb done even though I am out of warranty. I asked for a quote on just the leaf springs. They wanted $$1287.42!!!

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Get an AAL from wheelers or toytec for $80 and do it yourself.

Ha ha what did you expect? They probably quoted you at MSRP for parts, install and alignment. Hell, for that price, I'd get rear coilovers.

I think they might have quoted you for the whole thing, labor and all. Cause that's about what my invoice said when I got mine done and then the cost was 0'd out at the bottom with a warranty entry.

You can get better springs than that tho...

Put in the OME Dakar leaf pack. The load carrying behavior is far superior to the TSB springs.

No there are conversion kits out there that replace your leafs with a coil spring. Can someone else help out with this?

Got mine done today and I was curious how much to buy the parts. Stealership gave some ridiculous prices: $638.05 each of the leaf spring assembly, $111.56 of the 4 U-bolts= $1387.66 plus tax. Then you need alignment, it will be about $1500. I am glad I am still under warranty. With OME lift kit or 5100's all around with OME leaf spring it will be far less than $1500. Crazy stealership!
