Well I've had the truck all week after the TSB was done on Monday, it is definitely higher as you can see from the photos.
It has a nice forward rake to it, the ride is a little tighter and firmer in the back. I should have it loaded up in the next few weeks as we have a dive planned so lots of gear to weigh it down, I'll take some before and after measurements/shots of the bed loaded/un-loaded.

Just got mine back from the dealer also. Looks and feels great. Can tell a small difference in the height but the feel is a lot better. Got rid of the buffet the happens some times. All in all I am happy with it especialy for the price tag of free.

I have seen in Toyota literature more than once that they refer to PreRunners in the same category as 4x4.....I think it is on their websites under specifications. In the option area they say stuff like "available only on 4x4) when I knew for a fact that they were available on the PreRunners(like the Off Road Package, etc).

Also, dealers make money off of warranty work. They get paid they book shop time for the work. SO it makes no difference to them. They just wanna make sure it is applicable so that Toyota re-imburses them for the work. They definitely don't wanna do it and then have Toyota turn around and not pay them....then they will lose the cost of parts and labor.

I just went in to a dealer last week to try and get this done, No luck.
Was hoping to get freebies for the rear springs, but supposedly it wasn't covered. I got an 05 pre runner used last year from the same dealer. I just put on some Icon coilovers and TC UCA's (thanx to sonny from downsouth motorsports )but the rear is a bit low now. But the ride is 1000 times better :)

I may try another dealer, or what's this about an 800 number ??
