    Looking for some input please.

I currently have 5100's set at zero with Eibach coils for approx 1.5inches. I have nothing in the back.

Im going to be getting an RTT which I'm hoping will be under 175lb with the bed bars. My camping gear is pretty light so I dont think Ill ever have more than 400Lb total in the box when loaded. In the winter I will just have my cover on. I dont do any serious wheeling and most of my time is spent on the highway or on gravel roads.

My thought is to go with a 1.5inch AAL in the back with some new shocks.

Any suggestions on which AAL and shock to look at?
Im trying to decide between 5100, Toytec Boss, Fox 2.0 and Icon for the back shocks.

Any pictures of 1.5inches all around with 265/75/R16 would also be great!

Our 3 Leaf Multi Leaf AAL would be a good choice. It rides great and provides about 1.5 or so inches of lift. To help make up for the additional weight you can keep the overload installed ( I would recommend cutting the ends down to just longer than the spring perch).

    Thanks for the response Dan.

How much harsher is the ride with the overload installed? I'm assuming that is why you suggest cutting the ends?

Any suggestion on shocks? I would preferably go with something that wouldn't make me want to change it out too fast. That's why I'm leaning towards something like Fox or icon. any thought on which would give me the best value? Or do I stick to 5100 and the AAL for now and then if i want to upgrade later I do the front and back together with UCA and a new leaf pack?

The overload actually does not change the ride stiffness, but they can interfere with the 3 leaf set on one side. If you just cut them down (smooth the edges), the will work like a very small block, but because they will actually be bolted to the spring pack just like a standard leaf it is actually a better setup than using a block.

5100s are hard to beat for the money. But the Fox, and Icon are both great shocks, that are fully rebuild-able and dissipate heat better due to the aluminum shock bodies.

Could anyone give some input or thoughts on airbags?

I like that fact that when I take the tent off then I would be more or less level.
