    Hey everyone,

I plan on redoing my trucks suspension, both front and back, but the rear is priority number one at the moment.

Currently I am running Bilstein 5100's on all four corners with stock coils, driver side spacer to correct for taco lean, and the toytec 3 leaf AAL in the rear.

My leaf springs are really worn out, and while the AAL has made a huge difference, I plan on adding a topper, rack, and building a drawer system in the near future and there is no way they are going to be able to handle anything close to that much weight.

I was thinking of replacing the leaf springs with the OME Heavy Duty Dakkars (660lb constant load) springs.
Additionally, I imagine since those will provide more lift that I currently have, especially if I do not always have a 500lb+ constant load, longer shocks and better might be useful?

I would love some recommendation for rear shocks and if you all think that the rear leaf springs that I have my eye on are a good bet for me, or if I should look elsewhere (maybe Deaver?).

    Thank you!

I'd just do the Dakkars. The Deavers, from what I hear are nice and flexy but if you want to run a little weight it may not be enough support. The heavy duty ones may be too stiff unless you really load your truck out. I'd do a little figuring on the weights you think you want to run while off road and ask around. I'm in a 1st Gen and am probably a little lighter to begin with so...

As for shocks, I went with Fox 2.5 with reservoirs up front, and 2.0 10" with reservoirs out back. Love the ride.

OME 90000 shocks and Heavy Dakar leaf pack, 885 or 887 springs up front, unless you want to add weight to the front, then go 886
